A Seat Saddle is a custom, handmade passenger seat cushion that has two, leather covered, cylinder shaped cushions and a flat, padded center cushion. This product works by sitting on top of the passenger portion of the motorcycle seat, (sometimes called the pillion), with one of the round cushions on each side of the seat. When the rider sits on the Seat Saddle, its two cushions are pressed down and inward, which forces them to grip the sides of the seat. In this way, the Seat Saddle creates a very comfortable seating area that is up to six inches wider. This wider area that is created will distribute the pressure of sitting to the hip bones, instead of only the tail bone. The padding we use for the center cushion is called saddle foam. We do not use gel in the Seat Saddle because it does not give the support needed in a seating surface. Gel would also increase our manufacturing costs, which would translate into higher retail price.
